What handlebars fit a Heritage Classic?
Three Steel Guru bars fit the Heritage Classic and Heritage Classic 114: the Steel Lowline, the Steel Viper and the Steel Fifty X. Each one is hand-welded to the exact year you specify, so the geometry and cable routing line up cleanly with the bike rather than being a generic template.
Do taller bars need longer cables on a Heritage Classic?
Depending on the rise you choose and the year of the bike, taller bars can call for longer clutch, throttle and brake lines. Steel Guru confirms what your build needs against the year you specify at order time. If you run the stock windshield or hard bags, add that in the notes so the stance and clearance are set with those in mind.
Is the 2018-onwards Heritage Classic different from older Heritage Softails?
Yes: the 2018-onwards Heritage Classic sits on the Milwaukee-Eight Softail platform, while the earlier Heritage Softail Classic is a Twin Cam bike with a different setup. All three bars cover both, and because every bar is built against the exact model and year you specify, those generation differences are handled at the workshop before anything is welded.
