What handlebars fit a Fat Boy?

Does the Fat Boy 114 need a different bar than older Fat Boys?
All four bars fit both the older Twin Cam Fat Boys and the Milwaukee-Eight Fat Boy 114. Because setups differ between generations, every bar is built against the exact year you specify, which is how those differences are handled before anything is welded.
Can I get a taller rise on a Fat Boy?
Yes: rise, width, pullback and diameter are all set at order time. If you want a spec that sits outside the standard range, use the Design Your Own configurator and Steel Guru will confirm the fit against your year before the bar is built.
How do you change the handlebars on a Fat Boy?
The bar sits in the riser clamp, so the swap is mostly about the controls. Take the switch housings, clutch lever and front brake master cylinder off the old bar, keeping the master cylinder upright, then open the riser clamp, fit the new bar, set its angle and torque the clamp bolts to the figure in your service manual. Refit the controls, turn the bars lock to lock to check nothing pulls tight, and test the brake, clutch, throttle and switches before you ride. If the wiring runs inside your bar it has to be de-pinned and pulled through, and taller bars can need longer lines, so have a Harley workshop fit them if you would rather not work on brakes and wiring.
