Road King crash bar
An engine guard for the Harley-Davidson Road King, Road King Classic and Road King Special, built around your year rather than pulled off a shelf. The Road King's exposed front end means the bar is as much a styling part as a protective one, so the bend, the stance and the finish all get set up for your bike.
3 mm S235 steel, one piece, hand-bent and TIG-welded, with replaceable nylon sliders that take the hit in a drop instead of your primary cover, tank or floorboards.

Chin spoiler: check before you order
Most Road Kings run without a chin spoiler, but the Classic and some later bikes have one fitted. Check the gap below the engine between the front frame tubes: a smooth closing panel means you have one. Tell us on the product page, or pick "Not sure" and we will confirm.
Fitting it
The bar uses the Road King's factory engine guard mounting points, so there is no drilling and no frame modification, and you reuse the bolts already on the bike. Because the Road King's front end is on show, the weld work is finished to the same standard as our handlebars.

Crash bars for other Harley Touring models
A crash bar is designed to protect your motorcycle's bodywork and engine cases. It is not certified safety equipment and is not a substitute for protective riding gear.
