Street Glide crash bar

€349incl. VAT

The SG Slider Pro is built one bar at a time for the Harley-Davidson Street Glide, and that includes the Special and the ST. You tell us the year and whether your bike wears a chin spoiler, and we bend and TIG-weld the bar around that exact machine rather than shipping you a generic guard and hoping it lines up.

It is formed from a single length of 3 mm S235 steel with no joins through the front of the bar, so the whole hoop takes a hit as one piece. Replaceable nylon sliders stand proud at the contact points: in a tip-over or a car-park drop the slider grinds away instead of your primary cover, your lower fairing or the tank. Scuffed sliders unbolt and swap out in minutes.

  • Street Glide

  • Street Glide ST
2009–2013
Touring chassis, twin-cam engine. Bar mounts to the factory engine guard tabs on the front frame downtubes.
2014–2016
Project Rushmore Street Glide and Street Glide Special. Same mounting points, wider fairing lowers on some bikes.
2017–2023
Milwaukee-Eight Street Glide, Special and ST. Extra clearance is cut around the oil cooler on M8 bikes.

Chin spoiler: check before you order

Street Glides are the model where this matters most, because a lot of them run fairing lowers and a chin spoiler together. Look at the bike from the side, low down at the front of the engine: if a smooth panel closes off the gap between the frame tubes, you have a chin spoiler. Pick "Not sure" on the product page and we will confirm with you before we cut steel.

Fitting it

The bar bolts to the Street Glide's factory engine guard mounting points on the front downtubes, so there is no drilling and no frame modification. You reuse the original engine guard bolts that are already on the bike. Budget half an hour with a socket set and a torque wrench.

Riding a 2024 or newer?

2024 and newer Street Glides run a wider Milwaukee-Eight 117 and a redesigned front frame area, so the current SG Slider Pro does not clear it. We can still build one for you as a bespoke job: send a sketch or just tell us the bike and we will quote it free, fixed price inside 48 hours.

Street Glide crash bar questions

Does it fit a Street Glide Special or an ST?
Yes. The Special and the ST share the Street Glide chassis and the same engine guard mounting points, so both are covered from 2009 to 2023. Choose Street Glide on the product page and give us the year.
Will it work with fairing lowers?
Yes, but tell us. Fairing lowers and a chin spoiler change the clearance at the front of the engine, and we adjust the bend to suit before we weld.
Do I need to drill the frame?
No. It bolts straight to the factory engine guard mounting points using your bike's original bolts.
How long does it take to get one?
We build to order in 5 days and ship worldwide from our workshop in Lithuania.
