Road Glide crash bar

€349incl. VAT

A crash bar built specifically for the Harley-Davidson Road Glide, including the Custom, Special, ST, Ultra and Limited. Because the Road Glide carries its fairing on the frame rather than the forks, the bar sits in a busy area, so we build each one around the year and the bodywork you actually have instead of selling a one-size guard.

One length of 3 mm S235 steel, hand-bent and TIG-welded with no joins through the front of the hoop, and replaceable nylon sliders at the contact points to take the damage in a drop instead of your engine cases and lower bodywork.

Chin spoiler: check before you order

Road Glide Ultra and Limited models usually run a chin spoiler; the base Road Glide and Special often do not. It is the panel closing off the gap below the engine between the front frame tubes. Tell us which you have on the product page, or pick "Not sure" and we will check with you before we build.

Fitting it

No drilling and no frame modification. The bar bolts to the Road Glide's factory engine guard mounting points with your bike's original bolts, and it clears the frame-mounted fairing and the front of the engine on every year we list.

Riding a 2024 or newer?

The 2024 and newer Road Glide has a wider engine and a reworked front end, so the current bar does not clear it. Send us a sketch or a description and we will design and quote a bespoke bar free, fixed price inside 48 hours.

Road Glide crash bar questions

Does it fit the Road Glide Ultra and Limited?
Yes. The Ultra and Limited are covered from 2009 to 2023. They usually carry a chin spoiler, so make sure you tell us on the product page.
Does the frame-mounted fairing get in the way?
No. The bar is shaped for the Road Glide's frame-mounted fairing and mounts below it at the factory engine guard points.
What about a 2024 Road Glide?
The 2024 chassis is wider and the current bar will not clear it. We build those as bespoke jobs through Submit a Sketch, quoted free inside 48 hours.
Can I get it in chrome?
Yes. Matt black and gloss black are included; chrome is €50 and a custom colour is €20.
